All revoking refresh tokens will do is force you to logon again to any 365 apps or when you access the Azure portal etc.. It doesnt change your password or reset MFA or anything like that.
Microsoft requiring MFA on the Azure Portal
Email sent out stating that on Oct 15,2024 MS will require MFA.Problem statement.
I use my live id to log into my personal M365 account and also my Pay-As-You-Go Azure instance. I have enabled MFA on this account. When I log into the portal I get prompted just like on the other sites I use for this account.
My Azure instance does not have Security Defaults enabled which is what is needed for MFA. When I go to enable the security defaults I am told that I need to Revoke Active Tokens.
Questions
If I revoke the tokens in the Portal so that MS will see that I have MFA on will it cause my current MFA to break? Will I need to reestablish a new Authenticator account? Does this mean I have to turn of my MFA for M365 so that this will work? Maybe MS sees that I already have MFA enabled for my live ID and will not do anything?
Very Confused
