SCOM - Network Devices ICMP Monitor - How to set overrides

Have setup ICMP ping on some critical windows servers using Network Management / Discovery. Followed something similar to this blog: https://quisitive.com/using-the-built-in-network-monitoring-within-operations-manager-2012-to-monitor-network-devices-using-icmp-only-mode-scom-sysctr/

This Ping seems to be very aggressive and is generating Alerts when the VM is getting snapshot removed when backups are running

Might be detecting a few packet drops and flagging it as an Alert.

Have checked in Overrides but can't find any place to adjust Thresholds or Frequency or packet size etc

network not responding

Does anyone have any ideas on where and how these can be tweaked ?
