How to remove my email from a Microsoft list of emails that is suppressed

Recently, I have been told that my email is being suppressed by Microsoft because it is suspected of being from a spammer. I found out because I am no longer receiving emails from my son's school, or schools that my son is applying to. It is very frustrating because my email is legit, and I am missing important communications from multiple organizations, and because they cannot send to me, I don't even know what I am missing (or who all I am missing them from).

One school can fix this on a case-by-case basis, but not globally, I am told I need to get my email removed from suppression by Microsoft. How can I even do this??

    Hi, @DeeSch

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum!

Depending on your description, your mailbox may be blacklisted by Microsoft due to some reason, such as sending a large number of spam emails.

The first thing you need to do is confirm the status of your email address:

    1. Are you not receiving any emails from any sender?
    2. Does the sender receive a non-delivery report(NDR)? Can you provide me with a screenshot?
    3. If your mailbox is still able to accept some emails, then check for missing emails in “Junk Email”.
    4. Try adding email addresses from school and other important senders to your Whitelist or Safe Senders list.
    5. Contact Microsoft Phone Technical Support for faster and more effective instructions on how they can help you remove your email from blacklists or spam filters. Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

But, if you want to keep your mailbox; you may create an Alias and Eliminate the principal Address Mail.
