Hi everyone,

I need help with an issue we're facing in our organization. Many of our PCs running Windows 10 and 11 Pro have been freezing every day for the past two months, requiring a restart. I've run online scans, SFC scans, CHKDSK, etc., but none of them have fixed the issue.

The only solution so far has been to reinstall Windows, which resolves the problem. However, we still have many PCs experiencing the same issue, and it's becoming difficult to reinstall Windows on all of them.

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks.

    Hello Syed Masood Shah,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Here are general steps for both Windows 10 and 11 for your reference.

    1. Check Event Viewer:

    • Open Event Viewer, look for any critical errors or warnings around the time your system froze.

    1. Update Drivers and Windows:

    • Ensure all your drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer’s website.

    • Make sure your Windows is updated to the latest version.

    1. Check for Malware:

    • Run a full system scan using Windows Security or any other trusted antivirus software.

    1. Clean Boot:

    • Perform a clean boot to rule out software conflicts.

    1. Run DISM Tool:

    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth to repair the Windows image.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
