Rewrite on Edge does not pop up

Question

i use Rewrite on Edge alot and it stopped working suddenly

i disabled Edge extensions

removed all cookies

reset all settings in edge

reinstalled edge

nothing works.

Same for me I use it a lot for work I tried everything from editing the registry or using a run command to enforce it but nothing works for me, please can anyone help?

I found a solution finally :)

I logged into another laptop to check if Rewrite would work on Edge, and it did. Since there is no way to completely uninstall Edge, I copied all sub-folders expect Temp from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft on the working laptop (same profile) and pasted them into the one that wasn't working, and just like that, everything is good now. PS: just make sure you do a back up first incase anything goes wrong.

FYI, my solution worked only 1 day and today Rewrite is not popping up anymore :(

Until Microsoft fixes it I believe using Edge Beta will work.

Rewrite is part of Compose and that is being retired it seems. Even the Beta won't save it.
