Please help. I use drive D connected to a laptop.     Hello.

    Have you made significant hardware changes recently?

    In my experience, if a major hardware change can trigger this, the only workaround is to format the drive.

    So I did all the steps - please tell me something specific A friend had a similar problem MS sent a special code and it unlocked. Can you explain to me how it is possible that the Disk Identifier matches but the Recovery Key does not work?

    Hello Friend,

    The problem you face now may be because of windows upgrades,

    second it may be because ; if you locked your disk before clean installation

    3rd possibility ; if you changed BIOS settings you may have this issue,if you did any update your BIOS settings may have changed,you should go back to your previous BIOS settings

    4th possibility ; The errors that you have in your system files
