Hi,

I am not sure if I understand the Service Offering Category in SCSM. I have created some new Service Offering Category( one of them is called "Cooperation Service" and select the new Service Offering Category on the my new Service Offering as Category.

And published my SO. My RO is called "Report issues with the messaging"

On the User Port, I see the RO "Report issues with the messaging" on "Service Catalog"

I did thin the user should see on the Portal "Cooperation Service" and under this the RO "Report issues with the messaging"

Or am I wrong here?

If I understand Service Offering Category correct, what is wrong by my configuration?

Regards

    Hi,

It sounds like you’re on the right track with creating and categorizing your Service Offerings (SO) and Request Offerings (RO) in SCSM 2022. However, there might be a small configuration detail that’s causing the issue.

Here’s a quick overview of how it should work:

    1. Service Offering Category: This is used to group related Service Offerings. For example, “Cooperation Service” is a category you created.
    2. Service Offering (SO): This is a logical grouping of Request Offerings. You should assign your SO to the appropriate Service Offering Category.
    3. Request Offering (RO): This is the actual service or action that users can request, such as “Report issues with the messaging.”

If everything is set up correctly, users should see “Cooperation Service” as a category in the Service Catalog, and under this category, they should find the “Report issues with the messaging” request offering.

If you still encounter issues, it might be helpful to revisit the configuration steps or consult the detailed documentation on the Microsoft Learn website.
