Hello, I use MS word 2021 (Office Pro Plus 2021) in French and English. The interface is in English, but I can't deactivate the automatic correction of quotation marks in French. When I type "" (straight quotes), Word automatically corrects to « » (Franch quotes). In Options > Proofread > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat I see the option to deactivate "Straight quotes with Smart quotes", but it's for English only. So, is there a way to disable the automatic correction of quotation marks in French but keep the automatic correction for English? when I switch the interface language from English to French, this option adapts to FR or EN quotation marks, but it's not possible to leave it activated in one language and activate it in the other. Thanks.

    Hi @DragoWeb

After Word automatically corrects "" (straight quotes) to « » (Franch quotes), please select the text you type, click proofing language in the bottom bar of Word.

Then choose "Selected text", change to "English" for a test.
