Hello Experts,

I hope this message finds you well. I am moving a few resources (like VMs and storage accounts) from Subscription A (associated with Tenant A) to Subscription B (associated with Tenant B). However, I am facing an issue and would appreciate your assistance.

Here are the steps I have taken so far:

  1. Created a guest user in Tenant A using my Tenant B email address.
  2. Successfully signed in and completed the authorization process.
  3. Assigned the necessary permissions to Subscription A.

Despite these steps, I am unable to see Subscription B within Subscription A, which is preventing me from proceeding with the resource migration.

Could you kindly advise on what might be causing this issue or provide guidance on how to resolve it?

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Thanks

Shanuka

    @Shanuka Thushara Greetings!

    Based on the information shared, I understand your requirement for moving resources like VMs and storage accounts between subscriptions (A&B) and across two different tenants (A&B).

    Please refer to the suggestions posted by Sreeju here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1752567/azure-vms-migration-from-one-tenant-to-another

    Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes!
