I've noticed that Skype is using a sort of a spoofing method to show the phone number that caller owns even though it is not the phone number that the call is made from, but rather trough Skype.

Yet I do not see the same service being available on Azure Communication Service. Is it possible to use API to verify and add a verified phone number to the account that later can show in the outbound calls or something similar to that? And additionally maybe without the need to purchase a phone number upfront in order to make outbound calls? So that the entire process is automatic and where a random available phone will be assigned for that period where the phone call is being made?

So that user may use a verified phone number to make outbound calls with and that either should be displayed or hidden, depending on the user's choice.

@Vadim Cool Thanks for your patience on this. I have checked with ACS engineering team and sharing the below.

Unfortunately, spoofing method for phone number is not supported in ACS at this moment but team has confirmed that this feature is present in our product roadmap, and they don't have any ETA at this moment.

I would suggest you follow the latest updates related to ACS here.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further question son this.
