Is it possible to publish to an Azure Static Web App (SWA) without a repository (i.e. without CI/CD)?

If so, how?

On the one hand, there are older posts that say this is not supported. On the other hand, both Bing Copilot and ChatGPT provide responses that suggest it was once possible.

Can someone please set the record straight?

(Btw, please don't ask me to install Node.js! :)

Hi @Bradley Plett , thanks for your patience. I confirmed with the SWA team that this is now supported using CLI. Please take a look at this SWA blog: https://azure.github.io/static-web-apps-cli/docs/cli/swa and this video series https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/shows/deploy-websites-to-the-cloud-with-azure-static-web-apps/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Best,

    Grace
