From the error message, it seems that there is a problem with the database connection. You could refer to the following solutions to solve it.
- Check the SQL Server status: Make sure your SQL Server instance is running. You could check it using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or through the Services Panel (services.msc) in Windows.
- Network connection: Make sure the computer can access SQL Server via ping. Check that the firewall settings on the client and server are not blocking SQL Server traffic.
- Make sure the connection string is correct.
- If you are connecting to the database remotely, make sure remote connections are enabled (in SSMS, right-click the server, go to Properties > Connections, and check Allow remote connections to this server.
Firewall settings: Make sure the firewall on the SQL Server computer allows SQL Server to communicate on the necessary ports (default port: 1433).).
