I'm a basic Excel user and don't run any Visual Basic App or using Macro or anything

when I installed MS, and clicking on "DATA" tab, i get below error window.

I've tried:

  • uninstall & reinstall MS (latest version)
  • tried all settings in trust center
  • going to control panel, right-click MS to repair MS

my current Excel version is

2408 (Build 17928.20114)

    Hi,

Did you install other Office versions before?

Did this problem appear in all Excel Workbooks?

I suggest you download the Office tool and run the tool to help you uninstall Office completely: https://aka.ms/SaRA-OfficeUninstallFromPC

Then re-install again and check if this problem is still existed.

You can also check whether you are using a 32-bit or 64-bit product, and try switching between the two versions to see if that solves the problem.
