getting error while connecting ssms for analysis services

Hi,

Unable to connect Analysis Services (SSAS) with Server Name in SSMS.

Please help me in this regard

    Is SSAS service in running state on server ADMIN?

    IP 127.0.0.1. so a local connection?

    Hi,Ramana KopparapuThe connection to SSAS must include the instance name;

    ADMIN seems to be your SERVER name. It's recommended to click 'Browser' in the input box to select an existing instance, and check in SSCM whether the SSAS instance is running.

    For a named instance, the server name must be specified in this format: servername\instance name. An example of this naming convention might be ADV-SRV062\Finance for a server that has a network name of ADV-SRV062, where Analysis Services was installed as a named instance entitled Finance.
