Getting Code: Request_BadRequest when trying to delete a Custom Domain Name

I added a domain to Custom Domains, but it's already used with Office 365, so I can't verify it with Azure. When I click Delete, it says "All checks have passed. Proceed to delete the domain." So I click Delete again, and it fails. The full error message is:

Unable to delete domain name
Unable to delete domain name 'domain.com' from Default Directory
