Azure AI assistance Upload multiple files search issue

Hi Team,

I was using the Azure AI assistance for the file search through the vector store. I have uploaded the 2 JSON files. However, the data is retrieved from the first file only. And also some times answers are not coming accurately.

The main issue was data was not retrieved from the second file. Could you please help me solve the issue?

File 1 => Size is 8.28 KB

File 2 => Size is 56.32 KB

I think It seems there might be an issue with how the data from the second JSON file is being indexed or queried also you can check the query configuration to ensure that it is set up to search across all indexed files. Sometimes, the query might be limited to a specific file or index.

Now able to get the data from the 2 files. I'm getting inaccurate counts when I ask for the count of records with the status "In progress." I've uploaded 20 records in JSON format, and the results I'm getting are 14 or 16. Can you help me resolve this issue?

Query Logic: Double-check the logic used in your query to count the records. Ensure that it correctly filters records with the status “In progress.”

Data Validation: Manually validate a sample of records to ensure that the counts match the expected results. This can help identify any discrepancies in the data or query logic.

Tried all possible ways but was still not able to get the accurate count in response. Do I need to choose any other alternate option to get accurate results?

Thanks for asking. I tried different ways but was still unable to get an accurate count using Assistance with file search. Now I changed to Chat completion with SQL query instructions and was able to get the raw query based on the question. Able to achieve an accurate count.

Solution:

I tried different ways but was still unable to get an accurate count using Assistance with file search. Now I changed to Chat completion with SQL query instructions and was able to get the raw query based on the question. Able to achieve an accurate count.
