    Ensure Volume Shadow Copy Service is Running:

    Open the Services console (services.msc) and ensure that the “Volume Shadow Copy” service is running.

    If it’s not running, start the service and set it to run automatically.

    Check That Shadow Copies Are Enabled:

    Right-click on the drive you want to configure shadow copies for and select “Properties.”

    Go to the “Shadow Copies” tab, select the volume, and click “Settings” to check the configuration.

    Ensure that shadow copies are enabled for the volume in question.
