Hi all,

My azure for students subscription has been disabled for some reason. I looked at my usage credits and I have used only about 24 USD out of 100 so i know that i didnt run out of credits. I had also not used the subscription in a month or so.

Not sure what happened.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Suhail

    Hi Suhail,

    Thanks for reaching out!

If your Azure for Students subscription is disabled and you haven't used up all your credits, there are two other possibilities:

    1. Credit Expiration: Azure for Students credit is valid for 12 months from the date of activation. If it's been more than a year since you activated your subscription, your remaining credits might have expired, leading to the subscription being disabled. To continue using Azure services, you would need to upgrade to a pay-as-you-go subscription. You can do this by contacting Azure support.
    2. Accidental Cancellation: It's possible that your subscription was accidentally canceled. If this happened, you can reactivate it by reaching out to Azure support. Once reactivated, you should still have access to any remaining credit and free services for the remainder of your 12-month period.

If you need help with any of these steps or have more questions, feel free to create a support request through the Azure portal.
