Hello,
You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the printer redirection group policy Settings.
Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host.
Make sure Do not Allow client printer redirection is set to Disabled.
- Check the printer driver update on the remote server.
- Verify the registry Settings for printer redirection. Make sure the following registry keys are set to "1" :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Wds\rdpwd\fEnablePrintRDR
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\Wds\rdpwd\fEnableRDR3.

- I do not have Citrix server environment. According to my research, this phenomenon may also be related to the Citrix RDS server itself. Make sure Citrix Print Management Service is running. Stopping this service may cause problems with printer redirection.
Search for Open "services" to make sure the service is running and you can check the printer redirection again after restarting the service.
