The absence of a “Members” tab in some SharePoint sites can be due to several reasons:
- Site Type: Different types of SharePoint sites (e.g., Communication sites vs. Team sites) have different features and layouts. Team sites typically have a “Members” tab, while Communication sites might not.
- Permissions and Roles: If you don’t have the necessary permissions, you might not see the “Members” tab. Ensure you have at least “Edit” permissions to view and manage site members.
- Are other users with permissions facing the same problem? View through another computer or account.
- Try to use a different browser or your browser's InPrivate mode to see if the same error occurs.
If you’re managing a site and need to add or view members, you can usually do this through the site settings or by accessing the site’s permissions settings directly.
