When configuring Azure AD Connect, the configuration fails with the message "An error occurred executing Configure AAD Sync task: An error occurred while sending the request". In the trace log, I repeatedly observe the following error log:
[ 41] [ERROR] Creation of connector [Domain_Name].onmicrosoft.com - AAD failed. This may be due to replication delay. Retrying after 5 seconds ...
Exception Data (Raw): System.Management.Automation.CmdletInvocationException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> Microsoft.IdentityManagement.PowerShell.ObjectModel.SynchronizationConfigurationValidationException: An error occurred while sending the request.

I didn't find anything online on how to resolve this and any help regarding it would be appreciated.
