Hi. I am facing a new error while debugging the Azure Sample code in VS code. I don't know whether the VS code is causing the error or the CMake. Let me know what I can do to fix this. I tried reinstalling Cmake extensions in VS code and also tried previous versions of VS code. Test previous version till November 2023. We are in a hurry because a lot of our Azure devices are given to customers and we need to test code and deploy as soon as possible. Thank you.

This debug type is implemented in the "Azure Sphere" extension in VS Code. You mentioned reinstalling the CMake extension, but I wanted to double-check if you've tried reinstalling the Azure Sphere and Azure Sphere UI extensions.

Thank you for this information. We are investigating a recent change in VS Code that might be preventing Azure Sphere extension from activating; I will provide an update in a couple of days once we finish our investigation.

We have updated Azure Sphere and Azure Sphere UI extensions on VS Code Marketplace. The new version is 24.3.446317. VS Code usually updates extensions automatically, but you may need to enable the "Auto Update" checkbox.
Can you please see if the updated Extensions have fixed the issue?
