You are unable to create Azure AI Search resources in the West Europe region due to restrictions implemented because of heightened customer demand. These restrictions are in place to ensure that existing customers and services can continue to grow without being affected by new deployments. As a result, new search services cannot be enabled in the West Europe region for the time being.

To address this issue, if you do not require immediate access to semantic ranker or skillsets, it is recommended to select the Sweden Central region as it offers the highest data center capacity. Alternatively, you can consider choosing the North Europe region as another viable option.

Is there an update on this? It looks like the promise of infinit scaling does not apply in west europe at all. How long will it take to increase capacity in west europe or can we request capacity?
