- Multimedia Messages: Azure Communication Services supports sending and receiving multimedia messages such as images, videos, and audio files. The cost for multimedia messages is typically based on the size and type of the media being sent
- Read Receipts: This feature is included as part of the chat service and does not incur additional costs beyond the standard message rate
- Using Emojis: Emojis are treated as regular text messages, so the cost what a regular message would cost
- React with Emojis: Similar to sending text messages, reactions with emojis are also charged as a regular message
- Reply to Messages: Replying to messages is considered a standard chat message and is charged at the same rate as regular messages
- Tagging People: Tagging people in messages is part of the chat functionality and is charged as a regular message at the rate of a regular message.
- Chat History: Storing chat history does not incur additional costs beyond the storage costs associated with your Azure subscription. The cost will depend on the amount of data stored.
- Presence: Presence information (e.g., online/offline status) is included in the chat service and does not have a separate cost
