Hi @Robin Sheng-MSFT

I followed your procedure and I still encounter this error.

I have downloaded the setups from your links provided.

I logged in as local admin and launched powershell

Admins can use a local teams MSIX to provision new Teams. Please try the following steps:

Download the .exe installer.. If you have downloaded this file previously confirm you have the latest version by comparing the properties on each file.

Download the MSIX: -MSIX x64

Open the Command Prompt as an Admin.

Depending on where your MSIX is located, do the following:

For local path, enter: .\teamsbootstrapper.exe -p -o "c:\path\to\teams.msix"

Could you please tell me if you encounter this problem when installing other applications or only when installing Teams?

There are a few policies that could alter these registry keys and block app installation in your organization due to restricted policy set by the admins. Some of the known GPO policies that could be preventing installation include:

Prevent non-admin users from installing packaged Windows apps

Allow all trusted apps to install (disabled)

Please check your computer for this setting:

In Windows, search for Edit Group Policy or right-click the Windows Key and select Run > enter "gpedit.msc".

This action opens the Local Group Policy Editor screen.

Go to Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App package Deployment to check settings for these policies:

Prevent non-admin users from installing packaged Windows apps

Allow all trusted apps to install

Make sure that value for these settings is set as follows:

Even with the GP edit and "allow all trusted apps to install", we cannot get this thing installed.

Good morning,

Thank you for your feedback and I apologize for the delay.

@Robin Sheng-MSFT I confirm that the app package deployment is not modified.

For now, I went through the sccm to deploy the .MSIX for user (I do not use the command line for an admin installation)

Moreover by sccm, for an admin deployment. Do you absolutely have to use a .bat? or can we do it differently?
