Create asset for MQTT leaf device

Question

In the Azure IoT Operations documentation, on the Manage Assets>Overview page is a diagram showing leaf devices connected without the use of an OPC UA server. And, there is mention of examples such as USB cameras and IP cameras. But, what about devices relying on MQTT communications? It seems the only way to create an asset is to provide the OPC UA server url. But, this would not be applicable for a device communicating via MQTT.

Please clarify. Is (or will there be) support for MQTT comms based devices? If there is currently support, please clarify how to create assets and/or connect to these devices. Thank you.
