What is Win64/ProcessExplorer.A and is it safe?

My anti-virus security system detected "A potentially unsafe application (Win64/ProcessExplorer.A) was found in a file that 7-Zip Standalone Console tried to access."

Is process explorer a safe application? If I delete it, how will it affect my OS (Windows 11)?

Thanks.

    Hello,

"Explorer.exe" is indeed safe as it is the built-in application in Windows for displaying the desktop UI. However, if your antivirus is alerting you, it's important to be cautious about the name/function of this application to ensure it is not a virus masquerading as explorer.
