Why cant we access Admx/Adml downloads?

Question

No longer able to download anything from the downloads links in any of the Microsoft documentation.

  • Visual Studio: Visual Studio Administrative Templates (ADMX)
  • Windows: Built in to the Windows client OS.

@Jim Brooks, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For the download url, it seems to be archived and not available now. So we can't access it.

To configure policy, in general, we will first check if it has the setting in settings catalog policy in Intune.

If not, then we can check if the ADMX templates are available on the Internet. We can search directly with the template name. In addition, if one device is with the policy setting in GPO, you can also find the administrative template under its C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions.
