I have received 5000 credits from Founder's hub. However, the credit shown on my subscription is 200. I checked the credit balance and it is still 5000. How do I apply the credit? to existing subscriptions and future subscriptions.

Thanks,
Howard

Hello @Howard Thank you for reaching out to us through Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

If you have received 5000 credits from the Founder's Hub but only see 200 credits applied to your subscription, it's possible that the credits have not been applied correctly. Here's how you can apply the credits to your existing and future subscriptions:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal.
    2. In the left-hand menu, select All services and then select Cost Management + Billing.
    3. In the cost management page, select Cost allocation.
    4. In the cost allocation page, select the subscription that you want to apply the credits to.
    5. In the subscription details page, select Add credit.
    6. In the Add credit page, enter the amount of credits that you want to apply to the subscription.
    7. Review the details of the credit application, and then select Apply to apply the credits to the subscription.

To apply the credits to future subscriptions, you can create a spending limit policy that uses the credits as the payment method. Here's how you can do it:

    1. In the cost management page, select Spending limit.
    2. In the spending limit page, select Create spending limit.
    3. In the Create spending limit page, enter the spending limit amount and select Credit as the payment method.
    4. Enter the amount of credits that you want to use as the payment method, and then select Create to create the spending limit policy.

Once you have applied the credits to your existing and future subscriptions, you should see the credits reflected in your billing and usage reports. Please note that credits have expiration dates and usage limits, so it's important to monitor your usage and plan accordingly to avoid losing any unused credits.

If you encounter any difficulties or have specific questions about applying credits in Azure, you can reach out to Azure billing and subscription management support for assistance. They can provide guidance tailored to your individual situation and help ensure that the credits are applied correctly to your subscriptions.

    Hope this helps!
