Private Access connections timing out

I've notice that after 5 minutes of inactivity, Private access connections drop. It's not that much of a problem with a file share. It will simply reconnect. But using live applications, for example, SAP, where a connection needs to be maintained, I'm finding that I my connection drops and I have to repeatedly sign in. Is there a way to control the timeout period?

    Hi @Pietrorazio, Mike ,

Thanks for your time and patience.

This is known limitation and surfaced particularly with SAP workloads. The timeout is fixed and cannot be changed today. Due to the underlying infrastructure that in Azure Networking all default timeouts are 5 minutes of idle before connections are automatically dropped.

Our team is working on this to find reasonable solution.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks,

    Shweta
