Why is "New Quota Request" grayed out?

Why is the "new quota request grayed out? It seems like it would be a rights issue, but it's gray even for the tenant owners.

I see you have added Azure App Service tag to this thread is the issue related to quota in azure app service or are you facing issue with Quotas blade in the portal as shown below.

If you are having issue with quotas blade do let us know so that I can retag the question with appropriate tag so that right SME will be engaged and will assist further.

I am having the same issue. I upgraded my account. I need to increase my compute cpu quota. The request quota link is greyed out. Likewise if I attempt to open support ticket for the same issue, the details will not save thus preventing me from opening a ticket.

This is the error message I receive when trying to create an aks cluster.

(ErrCode_InsufficientVCPUQuota) Insufficient regional vcpu quota left for location eastus. left regional vcpu quota 0, requested quota 825212077688

Code: ErrCode_InsufficientVCPUQuota

Message: Insufficient regional vcpu quota left for location eastus. left regional vcpu quota 0, requested quota 825212077688

Got a fix that works.

You gotta go to Resource Providers. This is how you get there:

Subscriptions -> Your subscription (whatever it is, it was Pay As You Go for me) -> Settings -> Resource Providers -> Type in Compute.

Now, Microsoft.Compute should pop up, register it.

Now you should be able to submit quota requests, etc.
