I currently do not have access to SetupARP.exe. Is there another way to remove SQL Server 2012 from my system?
I tried "System Settings => Apps => Installed Apps and Feature." That's were I got the error message that SetupARP.exe could not be found. "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2012\x86\SetupARP.exe'. Make sure that you typed the name correctly, and try again.".

SetupARP? Like the Corel product? What does that have to do with uninstalling SQL 2012? Can you not just go into Programs & Features and select the Microsoft SQL 2012 product and remove it?
Sounds like maybe the Corel product installed SQL. Search your machine for SetupARP.exe. A quick google seems to indicate it may be with the Corel product that is installed. Do you have the original Corel media you used to install it? That is where the setup would be.
If that isn't an option then the things I can think of include:
Personally, if I couldn't get the Programs & Features to uninstall SQL and I couldn't find the original installer then I'd just leave it installed until I reinstalled Windows later. You can have an older and newer version of SQL installed at the same time if you need it.
The Corel product is not installed on the computer. That "SetupARP" is from the error message. I tried downloading the installer packed. It stated that it will remove but never gives the option to remove. I will delete the files and clean up the Registry manually.
Sure, as with any other application: System Settings => Apps => Installed Apps and Feature. Mark it => uninstall

You may remove all SQL Server components from control panel -->Programs and Features-->uninstall.

No one addressed the problem. They all suggested redoing the failing procedure. I finally deleted the related files and manually deleted the registry entries for MSSQL.

Hello Patrick Harren, I uninstall MS SQL 2022 but i can't find SetupARP.exe in my SQL folder so i can't uninstall it. Can you tell me how you do it please
