So, I like many others have moved to windows 11. My thoughts were that at some point in time, Microsoft may look at adding features from Windows 10. Things that make the operating system more functional. Features like double clicking a window edge will make a window expand to stretch from top of the screen to the taskbar, in windows 11, I need to manipulate the window to the top of a screen then stretch the bottom down instead. Windows 10 gave easy access to volume control, windows 11 I seem to wait until my coffee goes cold before I get an option to change my audio output, and add to that the individual volume output of apps seems to have been removed. You may stretch the taskbar accross multiple screens but only the main taskbar is given full functionality, by which I mean, any auxillary screen has no access to the System Tray Icons, but you get the date an time on all screens. Right click in an explorer window and instead of getting an options menu to cut, copy, paste etc, I get a bunch of ridiculous pictures or the option to open the regular right click options menu. Start menu, unintuitive, cluttered and space waisting. At least the tiles in W10 didn't remove the folders to the left of the start bar and the tiles were removable, could be organised and would accept shortcuts to folders that made sense. Recommended apps, as if Microsoft would have a clue fortunately you can turn it off, then it will only take up a quarter of the startbar with 1 line and a link offering you to turn it back on. Explorer Windows Tabs - just cause google does it, doesnt mean I want my OS to try. Now when I right click a folder I need to make sure I dont accidently click on open in new tab. I kinda thought that after the couple of years that Windows 11 has been available it might have got decent, but Functionality of the user interface seems to have been completely scraped in favour of making the OS closer to a mobile. I know I can get 3rd party apps to fix alot of the above, but why should I have to pay to fix this? By all means have the option for this complete overhall of the UI and even make it the standard when installing windows 11. But give the option to enable some functionality and remove the ABSOULUTE time waste that seems to have been developed into every possible aspect of this OS.

That's a nice block of text. I just flew over it, but in general I agree: I didn't like W11 to begin with but it was preinstalled on my work laptop so I had to use it- reluctantly, and with every update it became more annoying, and since end of last year it definitely crossed the line of being not usable anymore. So now, EVERY few weeks, it installs some idiotic update, that completely messes up my taskbar. Anyway, Microsoft can be sure, that ALL of the W10 installations of my family that we have and all those that I support , will stay W10 for as long as possible and then migrated to Linux.

joke here just to visualize this bad joke of a UI, every friggin month I have to uninstall some dumb update to revert it to how it was, but now it's getting serious as this dumb behaviour is shipping in security updates. So now I have at least an excuse to drop this joke of a "professional" OS at work and also migrate to something else.
