    Hi @Susan fredricks

Thank you for posting your query on Q&A.

I understand that you want to create an email address associated with your Azure Managed Domain. Microsoft Entra tenants come with an initial domain name like, domainname.onmicrosoft.com. which we can’t change or delete the initial domain name, but you can add your organization’s name to the initial domain.

To achieve your ask, create an email address for your Azure tenant domain, you need to create an Azure Communication Services Email resource and connect it to your domain. For more information, please refer How to add Azure Managed Domains to Email Communication Service

I hope this information helps! please Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Reference: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38951765/email-settings-for-custom-domain-in-microsoft-azure

Add your custom domain name to your tenant.

    Thanks,
    Akhilesh.

Hi! I think the question is to use the domain name associated with a tenant. I have the domain envoyly.onmicrosoft.com and I want to use it in an email service. The link you proposed will create a new domain like 49615170-86b4-45fa-b333-4a9c800b28c6.azurecomm.net and it is not so readable or descriptive. We maybe need to use https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/communication-services/quickstarts/email/add-custom-verified-domains?pivots=platform-azp but I cannot access the configuration of envoyly.onmicrosoft.com to add the TXT record and hence validate the tenant domain for usage with email service.
