I have tried to add multiple network printers (that can be added to other computers on the network but can't be added to mine) and always get error code 0x0000011b. I have removed all conflicting drivers, tried all printer troubleshooters on both computers, restarted print spooler services, and the computers of course.

Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. This is a bug when adding printers few months ago, Microsoft already released a fix for this through updates. You can check for updates and install any updates available. To resolve this issue, you can try one of below methods: Resolution 1: 1.Press Windows key + X 2.Go to Settings 3.Click Update and Security 4.Check for Updates and install all updates available. 5.Once all the updates are installed restart your computer and try to add a printer. Resolution 2: 1.Open registry editor. 2.Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print", add DWORD RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled = 0. 3.Restart the Print Spooler, and you should be able to print. When the Registry DWORD is set to RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled=1, Windows encrypts RPC communication with network printers and/or print servers. Performing the above is much faster than uninstalling the KB that was applied. Best Regards, Hania Lian

When using RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled = 0, from the client when prompted for login when first connecting to the print queue, at the client you must use the sever's administrator account. It used to be you could use 'administrator' but that changed after subsequent MS update (what onced work now failed in my test harness). My solution, create a new user on the server, add that user name to the Administrator group, use that admin user name at the client for login when prompted during point and print queue creation.
