Azure MariaDB server stuck in starting state

I tried starting my MariaDB server using Powershell commands. The server has been stuck in "starting" state since then. I tried executing server start,stop commands via Azure CLI but the server does not reponds to those commands. The commands keep running for eternity.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Azure MariaDB server. It sounds like the server is stuck in the "starting" state and you're unable to start or stop it using PowerShell or Azure CLI.

Did you receive any error messages when you tried to start or stop the server using PowerShell or Azure CLI? what commands you tried? please share more information.

Hi @GeethaThatipatri-MSFT No errors are thrown when I execute the following commands via Azure CLI. The command execution just does not complete. It keeps on running forever.

az mariadb server start --name <server-name> --resource-group <resource-group-name> --subscription <subscription-id>

az mariadb server stop --name <server-name> --resource-group <resource-group-name> --subscription <subscription-id>

The command "az mariadb server show--name <server-name> --resource-group <resource-group-name> --subscription <subscription-id>" shows the "userVisibleState" for that server as "Starting"

I also tried to create a new db using a PIT but the restore command throws the following error

(ServiceBusy) Service is temporarily busy and the operation cannot be performed. Please try again later.
