Azure Stack HCI 23H2 cluster deployment validation error (missing secret container tag)

Hi everyone,

we are currently trying to deploy a test cluster on the 23H2 preview using the new portal deployment method.

When reaching the validation step, we are always running into the same error (see below).

Apparently it is missing a secret container with name "LocalAdmin" (or a corresponding tag).

I noticed that during deployment, a key vault with four secrets is created. One of them is called "LocalAdminCredentials". Maybe this should be called "LocalAdmin" instead or should get a tag accordingly ?

Manually creating a secret with that name or adding a tag to the "LocalAdminCredentials" secret and re-running validation unfortunately didn't bring any improvement.

Any idea for a workaround or is this a bug in the deployment script which needs to be fixed?

The public preview only supports using English language for the operating system.

Download the OS version in English.

solved it in manually setting my logged in admin account within the vault the rbac permission "key vault administrator"
