We have source control set up in Automation account to automatically update runbooks from Azure DevOps. There is no option to specify runtime version, they are all 5.1. How can we specify a different runtime version, like 7.x, for runbooks that are sync'd in this way?

It might be related to this topic i.e., a private preview feature which is to update the runtime of existing runbooks. If it is not, then it might be a feature which is currently not supported.
I have reached out to Azure Automation product team to get correct insights on it. Will keep you updated as I hear more information.

UPDATE: Source control is currently not supported for PS 7.x runbooks. Plan is to support in Q2 CY24.

Its now Q4 of 2024 and I don't see this feature. When will this get added?
