How to enable nested Virtualization on D4s_v3

Question

I want to boot emulator on Ubuntu, but I cannot enable nested Virtualization on the Virtual machine. When I input:

grep -c -w "vmx\|svm" /proc/cpuinfo

However it reacts with "0", which means it doesn't support kvm.

The guide claims that Ds_v3 should support it, so how I fix it?

Hi,

Please confirm that your VM is set to Security type: Standard by browsing to your VM in portal, Overview blade, as shown below:

If it is not Standard you will need to re-create the VM and select Standard. When on the review page, right before you click to create the VM, double-check that it still says Standard because sometimes the portal will change it.
