Does the receiver of a data share impact the snapshot execution time

I have two partners who I share data to using Azure Data Share

The 'schema' shared is identical for both partners.

It takes approximately 2 hours to share to partner 1

Partner 2 has less data (about 1/2) but it takes longer to process - about 3 1/2 hours.

In once case they have a table with similar data size (both data read and number of rows), and it takes Partner 2 twice as long to process. Everything on my side is identical - so I'd like to know if the receiving system can impact the snapshot execution time

Thanks

    Hello Carl Berisford-Murray,

Many factors impact snapshot performance, including the hardware configuration, concurrent access, network bandwidth between the source and destination data stores, and location of source and target data stores.

Ex: if Partner 2 has a slower network connection or is located farther away from the source data store than Partner 1, it could take longer for the snapshot to complete.

To troubleshoot the performance difference between Partner 1 and Partner 2, please review the network connectivity, system resources, and configuration settings, which can help identify potential bottlenecks and optimize the data processing time.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
