    Hi @Joe Pokrifka ,

    OneNote will automatically recognize the link when you type something like "http(s)://xxx.xxx".

    You won’t see this option for a link created automatically by OneNote. To remove this kind of link, choose Edit Link and change the Text to display to be descriptive text instead of the URL. For instance change it from https://www.google.com to "Google". After that, you should be able to right-click the link and remove it.

    The provided solution is not acceptable.

    We should be able to put properly formatted URL as plain text in a note software. This behaviour is ridiculous.
