SQL SERVER 2022 INSTALLATION ERROR 1639

I was attempting to reinstall SQL Server, after an installation error occurred from when I had originally installed it. I've tried uninstalling all other remanents of the previous installation but I keep getting this error.

I also managed to create one database initially from this attempt but now I don't have access to it on SQL Management Studio. I've attached both errors that I get below.

    The error message you get from SSMS means that the SQL Server instance you tried to connect could not be reached. Which is not very surprising if the installation failed.

    In the same folder as you found the file above, there is a file detail.txt which has more information, and which possibly could help us. (I will have to admit that I've never understood why these 1639 errors occur.) Nevertheless, attach that file to the thread.

    But, hm, do you have a file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL16.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG? If so, can you attach that file as well? (You will need to rename it to ERRORLOG.txt for the forum software to accept it.)

    As for the error that occurs when SSMS connects to SQL Server, can you open SQL Server Configuration Manager and check that the SQL Server service is running?
