An error occurred while communicating with the Remote Desktop Gateway. If this keeps happening, contact your network administrator for assistance. Error code: 0x300005f I found this error when trying to connect to my Windows 11 laptop from a different network. I already port forwarded and I made sure my firewall wasn't the issue either, so does anyone know what the issue could be?

Hello there, Have you made any recent updates for the RDP ? If so can you uninstall the update and see if that helps? Check the dock and make sure the MRDP application is completely closed. If you see the icon from the dock, right-click on it then click Quit. Relaunch Microsoft Remote Desktop to log into the server. The below thread discusses the same issue and you can try out some troubleshooting steps from this and see if that helps you to sort the Issue. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/975161/error-0x300005f-microsoft-remote-desktop-app-for-i Hope this resolves your Query !! --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept it as an answer--
