Hi @Robert Hammond ,
How can I duplicate a calendar event then change the date for my next appointment?
Did you duplicate the meeting by Copy(Ctrl+C) and Paste(Ctrl+V)? If this is the case, it's expected that the other meeting details like notes would also be included in the new meetings, so you may have to manually remove the unnecessary notes before sending out the new meeting invitation.
With the above being said, if you often need to set up a meeting with the same attendees with same meeting subject, etc. An alternative I'd recommend is to take advantage of the Quick Steps feature in Outlook:
- Go to Home > Quick Steps, hit the New icon, choose Custom.
- Specify the name of the quick step, like "Meeting with sales", scroll down in the drop-down list of Choose an Action, select "New Meeting":
- Fill the recipients list and enter the other meeting details which are consistent in all meetings like subject, location, etc.:
- Hit Finish.
- Whenever you need to create a "duplicated" meeting, you just need to click the Quick Step created using aforementioned steps:
