80004005 is very common error code which basically tells you nothing. You need to learn to troubleshoot the OSD, first attempt it try to identify the real reason by reading Query Messages of the Task Sequence from CM console. If nothing will reveal, you need to investigate local logs, first is the tssms.log.

    Hi, @CoolSK2

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The error code 0x80004005 is a generic error code which means Access Denied. There may be number of reason behind this and you should analyze smsts.log to understand exact reason behind this error code.

When ever I get this error - as AllenLiu stated, its access denied (which is incredibly vauge).

'Access Denied' in my case meant that there was no connection to the SCCM server to grab the device task sequences. Or in more simple terms, no internet.

Investigate and make sure you can reach your SCCM server by pinging. If its hosted outside your network, ensure that the device is reachable from the server.

Past that, its possible that it is a literal, access denied. New MAC address not registered with your firewalls, etc.
