Support of Shifts in Teams for Guest

Hello,

we would like to use app Shifts in MS Teams. Unfortunately not every employee in our organization has O365 account. Is there any chance, that in Shifts will be supported Guests one day? Or is there some other possibility how to connect them?

I would also like to upvote this request as we have similar situation that we need guest users to be able to use Shift features.

People have been asking for Guests to be added to Shifts for TEAMS since 2019. Please is there any updates?

Being able to use guest accounts in Shifts is mandatory for us. I'm sure it is the same for many other company's.

I understand that guest cannot (since 2019 until now) open Teams.

But I don't find information about external members (external account trusted in my tenant and member, not guest).
Is it possible? if yes how? if not, why?

Agreed, There are several Companies using Temp workers on an hourly basis, to pay a full M365 license and go through that hustle just to be able to handle them in the same calendar is not an option.

Currently Shifts don't support guests.

I knew, that this is not supported now. My question was, if it will be soon/someday allowed to add external users to Teams Shifts? Or, if there is any other way, how to make them access with they private email.

Hi,

Thanks for the update.

Although this feature is in the backlog, currently there isn't a plan to support guests in Shifts.

Thus there is no guarantee that it would be supported in the near feature.

Besides, if there is a feature update in Microsoft products, you can check the Microsoft 365 roadmap for detailed information.

Or, if there is any other way, how to make them access with they private email.

I am afraid to my knowledge there are no other supported ways to do it rather than creating accounts and assign licenses for them in your tenant.

I would like the ability to add guests to shifts. Would be so helpful to my teams.
