Hello,

I'm facing an issue and wanted to see if you have any insights.

I need to change the hostname on approximately 3,000 clients using SCCM. I created an executable (EXE) for this purpose. However, when I deploy it through SCCM as System, it doesn't execute the hostname change.

I then tested deploying it as a User. If a local admin account is logged in, the hostname changes successfully. However, if a regular user is logged in, the script does not work.

In summary, a standard user cannot execute the EXE with admin privileges.

Is there a way to run an EXE via SCCM with admin privileges from a specific user account? If not, do you have any alternative suggestions?
