E.g. "Who are you" for o1 or o1-mini takes longer than 2 minutes. This is not normal.

Delay in response for o1 and o3-mini models might be related to network issues or regional or model /network configuration. Could you confirm whether it is public or private resource and region in usage.

Hi, no network or model setup issue because same as always. It's both o1 and o3-mini specifically taking 2 and 1 minutes respectively. Same happens in playground, so nothing to do with my local code etc.

Been true for last 4 days now. No changes ever. I can try new region, but I presume you should be able to see the problem.

I recommend reporting this issue to the Azure support team. They will be able to investigate the issue further and provide a more targeted solution. You can report the issue by following these steps:

Go to the Azure portal and navigate to your OpenAI Service resource.

Click on the "Support + troubleshooting" tab.

Fill out the required information, including a detailed description of the issue and any steps you have taken to troubleshoot it.

Submit the support request.

The Azure support team will review your request and provide assistance as soon as possible Azure support.

Hi @Saideep Anchuri , the issue is very severe. Latency for o3-mini on us-west2 is quadrupled to normal (as it was 17 FEB). Please help with solving the issue.

I tried other regions and same problem. Even with just "Who are you?" and about 25 reasoning tokens, still takes 2 minutes with o1.

This is ridiculous. Facing very same issue now for almost 4 days with o1 and o3-mini in Sweden. I have no quota in US but requested it to try, but how can it be that we get no reasonable answer from Microsoft and if you look the status is always Healthy? Really????
