I noticed that my MSFH Azure credit grant unexpectedly decreased from 5,000 to 1,000, and the expiry time was shortened by a year.

However, the Microsoft Azure Sponsorships website still displays a balance of 5,000 credits with a revised expiry date.

    Hi AV-2025,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

If you are experiencing discrepancies between the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub and the Microsoft Azure Sponsorships website regarding your Azure credit grant or expiration date here are a few steps we recommend ensuring that you have completed all the tasks in your verification checklist within the Founders Hub, as this is essential for maintaining or increasing your credits. For accounts with credit offers of $5,000 or less, you can request additional credits by completing the checklist and submitting a request. If your request was not approved, it could be due to issues encountered during the review process, potentially resulting in a reduction of credits. For accounts with higher credit offers, an automatic review is conducted approximately 45 days before expiration. If your account was downgraded, it may have been due to not meeting the necessary criteria during this review. Additionally, for accounts with $25,000 or more in credits, the engagement score—which reflects your active use of Azure services and your partnership with Microsoft—can also impact your credit allocation. A decrease in this score or reduced Azure service usage might influence the credit renewal process.

If there is a discrepancy between the Founders Hub and the Azure Sponsorships website, it is advisable to contact Microsoft support for clarification.
