Can we connect Azure AI Search with newly available model O3 mini in azure open ai Studio?

I want to connect my newly deployed model o3 mini with my azure AI search index to performe RAG

But add you data tab is not visible inside bring your own data tab, Is this functionality is in progress for this model or we cant acquire this with this model???

The "Add your data" feature is not currently available for the o3-mini model in Azure OpenAI Studio. This means you cannot connect your Azure AI Search index through the "Bring your own data" tab for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) at this time.

This limitation may be due to ongoing feature development or model-specific restrictions. You may want to check Azure updates periodically to see if this functionality becomes available in the future.

Let me help you and will take a step at a time:

1. Step 1: Open Azure Portal and Create a new Resource group.
2. Step 2: Create an Azure Blob storage resource.
3. Step 3: Create an Azure Cognitive Search resource.
4. Create an Index and Name it
5. Step 4: Create an Azure OpenAI resource.
6. You need to create an AI Foundry resource in Azure portal
7. Then create a "Project" and it will create HUB etc..for you during the creation
8. Deploy your model using the deployment wizard which I believe you have already done that
9. On the project page, you will see My Assets and second link : Data + Indexes
10. This is where you will link the Index to the AI Foundry for RAG

The link may help even though it's for pre-AI Foundry, steps remain the same, the UI has changed a little with AI Foundry.
